A note from the property owner
I moved to Jim Thorpe in 2019 after losing my 13 year old daughter Josephine to DIPG brain cancer. Josephine had a lust for life and loved this town. She enjoyed its numerous trails, rafting trips, and biking paths. After Josephine’s passing in June of 2019, this place has allowed me to feel connected to my Josephine through our immense love for nature.
She is everywhere. Josephine would wish everyone to enjoy these mountains, lakes and rivers as much as she did,
in the company of your love ones. Life is precious. Enjoy it.

A cozy house with a lovely wood burning fireplace in the living room and amazing view of the mountains. A very warm place close to nature and a historic town with many antiques stores, museums, and beautiful churches. The backyard is enclosed by a fence, which is ideal for kids and pets.

A deluxe enchanted home is at the heart of Jim Thorpe, neighboring the Asa Packer Mansion and the Harry Packer Mansion. Only half a block from the town train station with scenic rides in between the mountains. Enjoy a direct view of the surrounding mountains and the Lehigh River. This home has maple flooring in the living room which extends into the custom kitchen, which features solid maple cabinets, granite & onyx counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, beautiful hand-cut Terraza Stone with a ceramic arch surrounding a gas fireplace, custom cultured granite vanities in each bathroom, tall arched windows letting in tons of natural lighting.

This deluxe brand new apartment is located at the heart of Jim Thorpe, neighboring the Asa Packer Mansion and the Harry Packer Mansion, only half a block from the town train station. Enjoy a scenic ride in between the mountains. There is a direct view of the surrounding mountains and the Lehigh River and it is at the entrance of the Switchback Trail. It is also close to skiing. It has plenty of parking spaces and has direct access to the beautiful trail leading to the Mauch Chunk Lake Park. The entire two bedroom apartment is beautiful. This is a basement apartment above street level with an independent entrance and an amazing view. There is a full AirBnB house on top of this apartment.

Josephine’s Mansion at Switchback Trail
This is a combination of Josephine’s Home and Josephine’s Apartment at Packer Hill Road. The Mansion will sleep 16 in 6 bedrooms, with 4 bathrooms. Access to the upper and lower floors is inside the house by stairs with a door at the top and one at the bottom of the stairs. Both can be locked.
